In our environment we have a cluster of SPP and SPS linked together.
We are using a pool of Windows Server Session Hosts and a RDS Connection Broker to balance the remote desktop connections to the servers.
I have added the pool to SPP using its hostname, but when I create a new session request, SPP in the connection string uses the IP address of one of the servers in the pool and the RDP session ends with the following error:
"The remote computer hostname.domain.example that you are trying to connect to is redirecting you to another remote computer named hostname2.domain.example."
This happens because the RDS Connection Broker redirect the connection to one of the Session Host server, but for it to work I have to use the hostname of the pool for the connection .
Is there a way to configure SPP to use the hostname of the target in the connection string instead of the IP?
