SPP and SPS upgrade

Hi,

Upgrading SPS nodes will require a reboot after uploading and activating the new firmware.

The SPS reboot will disconnect active sessions on the appliance being rebooted, so it would be best to schedule a downtime \ change window for the upgrade duration to avoid interruptions.

Hello Tawfiq,

I read on the admin guide that in case of an SPS cluster, firstly the node with Search Minion role should should be upgraded, then managed host, central management node and search master mode in order.

Considering that we have 3 nodes with search minion and managed host role, and one with central management and search master node, can the first three node be upgraded simultaneously or do we need to perform this operation one node at the time?

Yes you can upgrade the managed host \ search minion nodes simultaneously and then Central management \ Search master node last.
