Swedish municipality achieves streamlined and robust IGA

So my name is Henrik Johansson. And I'm the Identity Manager for the municipality of Halmstad, Sweden. Halmstad is a coastal town known for their golf courses, and their beautiful beaches. We're about 100,000 citizens. The security concerns for any municipality is that the regulations. So to be within the law of the GDPR for the user deactivation, so we started looking for another Identity Manager solution because the Forefront Identity Manager from Microsoft was basically reaching end of life. And we wanted to have a more robust, not complex, but to be able to do more stuff. We choose One Identity because of the licensing and the user models. And the system was the large enough for us to be able to do the things that we wanted to do instead of having a smaller product or or less advanced product. So the provisioning in Identity Manager, we made it more streamlined and automated. Before, we had more manual provisioning. And well, because of the manual provisioning, we really didn't have the deep provisioning. So One Identity Manager really helped with provisioning and de-provisioning all employees. Going into an IGA implementation, you have to be more aware of those instead of a private company, for instance, and then the application and the health care and yeah. So it's a lot of sensitive data. So that's maybe not present in a private company. But our systems don't only hold our employees. They hold the citizens that lives in the city and the municipality. So our health care system has a lot of important stuff. And so those you need to protect. [MUSIC PLAYING]
