The major identity breaches we’ve seen this year showcase that companies' fragmented approach to identity security tools is insufficient in defending against the threat landscape. So how can companies improve their identity security posture?
A One Identity commissioned survey of over 1,000 top IT security professionals further explores this by uncovering:
- 89% of respondents have been impacted by an identity-based attack in the past 12 months
- 80% of respondents believe that better identity management tools could have prevented the impact of much such attacks
- 96% report using multiple identity management tools with 70% of companies reporting they’re paying for identity tools they’re not actively using
- 54% of respondents also believe that a unified identity platform for access and identity management would benefit their organization’s identity management strategy
