Business-driven solutions that are technology enabled

My name's Chris Ostler, and I am the CEO of Immersion Technology Services. We're focused on business transformation for our customers. And what does that mean? Those are big words. That is the introduction of technology in business. And where for years the business has always had to adapt to the technology, the technology has evolved to such where our technology now evolves to the business. So business driven solutions that are technology enabled. We do a lot of work with upgrading email systems, upgrading directories. That's one area of our business. The second focus in our business is on the One Identity space. So very much focused on identity management and access management. And then our third pillar is the Learning Management System. We have an online Office 365 solution as well as a solution that's an application that runs on top of SharePoint on-premises. You know, the use of education space is a very good example. You're an employee during the day, and at night you're an adult student. Do you have one account? Do you have two accounts? Where are you logging in from? If you've logged in with your student account, do you get access to your business resources? Those are the types of things that we deal with on a daily basis. If we look at commercial business, you've got some very large companies as well as some small companies where, if you go in and you ask someone in the management staff, who has access to what? They don't know. They cant tell you. Well, I think that these people can access that. And in many cases we can do a little bit of discovery for them and they're often quite surprised at who has access to what. The interesting thing about end-users is, when they transition amongst positions and companies, if they don't have the tools they need to do their job they instantly pick up the phone and they call and they say, I need access to this application for whatever reason. And somebody gives it to them. If a user in the organization has too much access-- oh, look, I can see all the executives payroll information-- they typically will never call the help desk and say, you know, I can see stuff I'm not supposed to see. If you're a manager in an organization and your boss comes in and lands on your desk at 7:30 on Monday morning and asks you, who did this over the weekend? You can look at him today and say, I don't know we did it. With a One Identity Solution, you can bring up a report and see exactly what happened, who did it, where they did it from, and in some cases, why they did it. There may be notations in there. It has come into its own in the marketplace and they really have a unique approach to the management of identity, and I'll just say, management of the IT in business, in general.
