Festo achieves seamless identity security with One Identity Manager

[MUSIC PLAYING] My name is Mantas Vitkauskas. I am a system architect and my company is Festo. Festo produce and sells biometric tools and control systems. But Festo located in 60 different countries. My name is Aurimas Zajanckovskis, and I am One Identity developer in Festo. The amount of employees that Festo has is average-- 40,000 personal identities. But there is, of course, system users and other important users that we also have to manage. The security risks that Festo is concerned about, in my opinion, is how to ensure that the right people have the right access and how to ensure that they have only that access that they need-- not more, not less. Because we don't want to leave open gates, so it's very highly security. If no one is using anymore of that account, it should be locked so no one can get inside and control the system. Before One Identity, we had a custom solution, a custom user management system. But it was lacking self-service, and it was not very versatile. There are a lot of systems that we couldn't connect. It took definitely longer than with One Identity. SAP And One Identity in Festo works together by we have authorizations, and users can order and request those authorization in the One Identity shop. And yeah, of course, there were a lot of manual work and processes that with One Identity we quickly were able to automate, which saves time and of course money. Before we had One Identity Manager, we had our own custom user management system. But it was not a self-service, so we had power users or key users who were needed to order the rights for each colleague. And with One Identity, now we have a self-service, so each colleague basically can order the rights for himself. The biggest value that we are seeing is, of course, that One Identity Manager tool is very versatile. And more importantly, it provides you with a lot of tools that you can use to automate the processes that maybe in the past were done in [INAUDIBLE] or something like that. It's a more secure process, more automated, and again, saving time, saving money. This lets our system to be more reliable and stable. For example, if you're ordering high critical, after the approve, we have the possibility to provision the rights to target system immediately. Yes. So SAP is our ERP system. And we have a lot of different systems. And it's connected to One Identity, and you can just easily search in a search field in our IT shop and order the rights which you need, One Identity, I think, is the tool with which you can handle this quite easy. If someone is starting with One Identity, IAM journey, my advice would be first, review the processes. It's very important. Review the processes. Review the best practices. And only then check what customizations do you need. [MUSIC PLAYING]
