EST Group Brings Organization and Compliance to Petroleum Client

[MUSIC PLAYING] EST Group had an organization that was in the oil and gas industry. They had compliance requirements that they needed to uphold. They had some challenges internally in terms of where their user data was coming from. They didn't necessarily have a source that they could get that user information from, as well as the need to identify and classify their users and their access that they needed. They had no real roles inside of the organization, and they needed to be able to create and access those roles to give the right permissions. What stood out to me was the ability to customize the Identity Manager product as well as the Password Management product to their specific needs. The biggest benefit that this customer received was the ability to classify and create their own internal roles and then take those roles. And as users came into the organization, be able to match that role up with those users, to be able to identify the access that they needed. One of the other things that we do is help them classify their data. And once we had their data classified-- what is public data, what is private data, what might be secret or intellectual property-- then we're able to take the roles and the users. And we're able to correlate that with the different classifications of data. And we're able to assign risk values to each of the employees. We can identify the users that are a little higher risk and attest those users more often. One Identity has a tremendous solution to automate the governance around both access and data. We have found those solutions to be extremely valuable and a very quick ROI in the customers that are using them today. [MUSIC PLAYING]
