Job Seekers: Beware of job scams and fake offers.
It has come to our attention that fraudulent employment offers have been sent to job seekers by people who claim to be Quest Software employees. These scammers use a variety of tactics to engage with job seekers to commit identity theft, financial fraud, and other crimes. To protect you from falling victim to this scam, we want to make you aware of how our recruitment process works and what red flags could alert you to fraudulent activity.
The candidate journey at Quest Software:
- Candidates must apply to jobs through our careers portal and may be contacted by a Quest recruiter by phone or from an @quest.com email address.
- Candidates selected for an interview will receive an invite to join a live meeting via Microsoft Teams link. Quest does not utilize third party chat apps.
- Offers of employment will come directly from an @quest.com email address or via careers portal.
- Upon acceptance of a Quest offer and prior to commencing employment, candidates will need to complete pre-boarding steps including a background check through our vendor, HireRight.
Note: We never charge fees for security deposits, training, application processing, office supplies, or other expenses. Our recruitment team will never ask for payroll info, social security numbers or account numbers, and do not utilize any cash transfer or third-party messaging apps such as Telegram or WhatsApp. If you ever receive an unsolicited or suspicious communication that demands any form of payment in concert with employment at Quest Software, you should consider it to be fraudulent and cease all contact with the sender. You can report US job scams to the FTC (ReportFraud.ftc.gov), your state attorney general, or econsumer.gov for international scams.
