If there is something that looks completely different in Version 8, in difference to Version 7, then it is the web front. The reason for that is it is our main user front, and we spent a lot of time in improving the front and in rebranding.
As you can see, the login screen, in the same way than before, looks slightly different. In the past, it was a little bit of a darker blue, and there was another company logo on it. But whatever. I like now to sign in, therefore I need my standard person user account and the password. And logging in.
And what you can see is that it looks completely different than before. Now, remember, in one of the versions before, we had the black borders. They've disappeared for 7.1.1., and now we have a complete new design. The blue is much lighter. But there are some other significant differences.
The first thing here, it's the new dashboard. You can see the new dashboard comes with a lot of more information. The reason why I see here so many graphs is that I am a super admin in this system. And as a super admin, I'm nearly responsible for everything. And because of that, you can see here a lot of information.
Typically, you will see a cleaner screen. That means less information. I'd like to show you that as well. And here we are. As you easily can see, this is much more lightweighted. Of course, now I'm not a super admin, now our standard user.
What you can see here first is that it is a little bit task oriented. For example, this screen here prompts me that I have not answered my password reset question. So let me do that shortly. I'm just jumping into that.
The system tells me what is now your password reset question, and I need an answer for that. You have seen that in one of the previous videos before. But this time, I'd like to show you once that is answered, I'm returning back on my dashboard. And as you can see, that specific icon here, it's disappeared. Because the password question, now it's completely configured. And with that, it just disappears.
And the same happens for all the other things appearing here on that screen, just letting me know there is something to do. Now let's go back to the super admin so that I can show you something more.
And what you can see next is that there is a nice icon over there. It's a bell. And this bell, it's displayed in yellow. And yellow, it's quite different to all the other blue icons we are using on the screen. Don't look at the graphs. Just look at the screen elements.
All our colors are blue beside the yellow one here. And this yellow one lets me know that there is something to do. That means yellow always says to the user, hey, there is work to do for you. So I click on that bell.
And as you can see, because I'm a super decision maker, I have a lot of responsibilities. And here are all work I could do. And as you easily can see, there are no pending requests, because there are only pending requests without a counter behind.
But if you go to Pending Rule Violations, then you can see there's a counter behind. And that lets me know that there is something to do for me. So if I, for example, now step on Rule Violations, then I am jumping directly into Rule Violations and can now do my work here. That means I can just approve or deny something.
Starting again on the welcome page, this time I don't want to use the notification icon on the right upper. I like this time to use the menu structure as well as to jump to my compliance violations I have to decide. Therefore I step here into Compliance.
And as you can see, the new menu structure, it's first of all on the top now. It is not vertically like before. And it is much more process-oriented. For example, I have to do something with requests. I have to do something with attestation, compliance.
I am responsible for something. Maybe I want to add calls to my system. At the end, I am now interested in compliance. So I step to Compliance and go to My Actions.
And as you easily can see, this is all what I can do in compliance. Yes, I am a compliance officer. That's the reason why you can see that much. And you can see as well, again, a yellow icon. That icons is corresponding to the yellow icon here on the right upper.
Here you can see there are three compliance violations I can directly navigate to. But I can, as well, go to the My Compliance, My Actions. And then I see yellow. Here's something to do for me. I can just click on my compliance violations, and here we are.
If I then want to do something-- for example, I want to grant an exception for my super user to be here in more than one role, I can directly do that. Next. And I'm good. I've only to click Save, and I have to enter a reason first. Of course, this is an exception.
Yes, in the real world-- let me say it that way-- it's not really a reason to grant an exception. But in a demo system, this is good enough.
Another cool feature is that with Version 8, we do now have new wizards. One of them is, for example, the compliance violation resolving wizard. This is what I want to show you next. As you can see, here's a compliance violation.
There is a person called Zeisler, and this person just hits on a compliance violation. And that says person of a member admin trainee group cannot an auditor trainee. Whatever reason it is behind that compliance violation, what I want to show you is how to use it.
And therefore, I just click here on Resolve. And I get a new wizard, and that wizard says, OK, you want to resolve a compliance violation. This is the segregation of duty problem. You have-- this person is member of both these roles. What should I do?
So I can say, for example, I want to remove this type of role from that specific person we are talking about. Then I can hit on Next, and he will now just show me a member of that specific role. Here we are. This is the person we are talking about. Next.
And he shows me now in the next screen, these are the permissions this person will lose if I just move him out of the role. And I can now hit Next, and then the removing will take place. And with that, the compliance issue will be resolved. This is possible here.
But I don't want to go further, because I need my data here for some other demos. At the end, what you can see here is a super nice wizard that allows me now here to solve compliance violations.
And we do have new wizards as well for delegation. We do have, as well, new wizards for reports and for splitting and joining business roles. This is old stuff that is newly implemented and waits there until it gets explored.
