Did you know that more than half of large organizations manage access rights in more than 25 different silosAnd one in five do so in more than 100 systems. That’s a lot of distinct applications and systems separately managed by unique processes and various levels of security. This fragmented approach to identity security complicates user provisioning and de-provisioning tasks and prevents clear visibility into who has access to what

To get better measurement of the extent and impact of this issue, One Identity commissioned Dimensional Research to survey IT security leaders from around the world.

Read the executive summary of our annual global survey, Understanding the trend toward unified identity security as a countermeasure to identity sprawl, to see how your experience measures against other CISOs and IT security professionals. Here are a few key findings:

  • 25% say that the number of identities they manage has increased by a factor of 10 or more

  • 12% are fully confident that they can prevent a credential-based attack

  • 47% are looking for automated orchestration across identities and privileged accounts
