How to survive and deal with Audit
Identity and Access Management (IAM) is often considered “low hanging fruit” and “rich pickings” for auditors. This talk will highlight some of the main areas where many organisations are still failing to effectively manage access to their systems and why auditors are often easily able to identify IAM issues. The presenter will reference practical examples to demonstrate significant challenges in managing access to systems especially against a backdrop of growing cloud usage and an increasingly distributed mobile workforce. The talk will also cover practical steps and mitigation strategies to help limit the occurrence of IAM related audit issues.
