Welcome to this video on configuring Kerberos authentication for Cloud Access Manager. The idea here is to have our users log in, using their windows authentication, to Cloud Access Manager. And then from there on to the applications configured through Cloud Access Manager. The steps are fairly straightforward. There's going to be three steps.
The first step is to ensure that Kerberos authentication is enabled for our front end authenticator. The second step is to execute a command line to set our log on screen to Cloud Access Manager to accept Kerberos. And the third step is to make sure that the log on screen for Cloud Access Manager is added to our trusted sites.
Let's go ahead and get started. So again, the first step is let's log into Cloud Access Manager fallback admin. We're going to go to our front end authentication, primary authentication. Go to our primary authentication section. Enable Kerberos authentication, if it's not enabled for you. And that would be the first step.
The second step is to execute a command line to set the home login screen to use Kerberos. So let's build it together. This is going to be setspm-http:. And now we need the login URL for Cloud Access Manager. So let's grab that. We only care for home.webapps, all the way up to .com. Copy that. Put it in here. We're going to put a space. And we're going to put the host for work Cloud Access Manager is a stalled. All right.
We're going to grab this. Come back to our command line. Edit. Paste. Click and go. OK. We've updated the object successfully. So let's again, go back to-- the third step is let's go back to the web portal here. And go to Tools, Internet Options, Internet-- well let's go to local internet, under security sites, advanced. We'll go ahead and add. Close. OK. OK. And let's go ahead and test that.
OK. So let me launch the application. And as you can see, it just logged me in using my windows authentication. Thanks for listening in.
