Safeguard for Sudo plugs into Sudo 1.8.1 or higher to seamlessly extend and enhance Sudo experience. The management console allows you to centrally manage your Sudoer's policy file. Changes made policy file are recorded and a report is provided to made changes and what changes were made. In addition, the centralized Sudo policy management, a Sudo event view, is also provided.
The event logs allow you to gain quick visibility on all of the Sudo commands that have been executed across all of your systems. And the event log allows you to filter on items of interest, like a particular host or user and whether or not the Sudo command was accepted or rejected. The event log shows which user ran the Sudo command on what host and what privileged command they attempt to run.
Another feature of Safeguard for Sudo is centralized keystroke logging of all privileged commands executed with Sudo. If you see a command of interest in the event view, you can click on it to view the full Sudo session.
Also provided are a set of reports that allow you to quickly see what commands users can execute based on your Sudoer's policy file. The report shows how many users can log into the system and what commands they can run.
