Unable to remove account definition from System Role

Hi,

I'm running tests and cleaning some stuff prior our upgrade from 8.0.1 to 8.1.

I have a system role which provides account definitions (see image). It's an old one. I'm trying to remove these account definition assignments to get rid of the role,  but they show as assigned indirectty and I haven't found any trace of inheritance whatsoever. 

In my lab I've performed the upgrade from 8.0.1 to 8.1 flawlessly and I've noticed that the account definitions are no longer assigned to the role, so I presume that this will be somehow fixed by the upgrade process but also makes me think that I'm dealing with some corrupted situation here.  How could I fix it in my current version?
