[MUSIC PLAYING] In this video, we're going to go ahead and launch a session to gain access to an asset that exists within my corporate network. You'll notice here I have a tile. I'm already logged into OneLogin. You'll see that this tile says PAM Users. I'm going to go ahead and click on that. This will redirect me to PAM Essentials as a user. If my user has access to a system, those systems will exist here. If you haven't set up any systems, please see the video around how to add a system to PAM Essentials.
Now in this case, I have two different systems that I can gain access to. One being a docker system, which is a Linux system and a Windows system. Now we're going to go ahead and access the Linux system, and I will click on Linux system here. And you'll see this pop up. This pop up is One Identity's scalus program. You can say always allow this particular asset to be associated with this type of link.
This will go ahead and open up Scalus. Scalus is an application that will allow you to authenticate into any system or use any type of client when accessing these systems. And you'll notice here that I'm now logged in with the PAM Essentials user account, and this account was defined in the access policy. And this user would then be able to remotely connect in. We'll look at-- type in any commands as an administrator, close out of that.
And all of this access can be remotely done. There's no VPN required and you can connect into your critical infrastructure by clicking on these individual tiles. Not only can you do this for Linux, you can also do this for Windows by clicking on the tile itself. It's going to go ahead and download that RDP file, and then we'll go ahead and launch the session, as you're seeing here. It's authenticating in, and when it connects into the system, it will also be recorded.
So it's saying that there's currently another user signed in. We'll wait for that user to log out. And now I'm logged into the system. Make this full screen, depending upon your resolution. And now I have complete access to this particular server. Notice here again, utilizing a PAM Essentials user. This doesn't have to be a PAM Essentials user. Any user that was defined within the connection policy itself.
It's as simple as that. If you have more than one account, when you click on these individual tiles, those additional accounts will also appear. Right now, I have account assigned to each of these assets. That's why we're not seeing them. Thank you.
